The summer 2020 box came right in time for the start of the season- as always! I wasn’t all that happy with the item choices we had this time around, but still feel I will get use out of most of the products.

First up was the annual subscribers choice items, and I picked the wireless charger in the first selection. I’ve already received one from FFF before from an add-on but I knew I could use another. You can never have enough spare chargers! I find it especially helpful for going away during the summer and couldn’t resist the pretty design.

For the next choice item I was a bit disappointed because I really wanted the Isaac Mizrahi kimono, but it was sold out when I went to customize. I ended up getting the R+Co shampoo set since I needed shampoo & conditioner!

I’ve tried this before, and I don’t feel like its the best shampoo and conditioner I’ve ever used, especially for the price point. It retails for $64 and the bottles are on the small side. Would I ever pay that much for this duo in the future- more than likely no.

The next item I chose were the Toms sunglasses, and I was supper happy to find they were polarized! I have been wearing them non-stop since getting them in this box, I feel they are the perfect throw-in-your-bag pair that I don’t have to worry about getting bent or damaged as they are plastic but still feel well made and high quality.

Next I chose the Terre Mere toner. I usually use Thayer’s witch hazel toner and decided to give this one a try. I can honestly say it has no scent, and feels like like water. I’m not actually sure if it’s working better than Thayer’s, but I’ll probably use it until the pretty bottle runs out. It did come in bubble wrap as this is a thick glass jar.

The last choice item I chose was the Isaac Mizrahi vase (since I missed out on the kimono!). I think this is a really cute home decor piece, I love the pale pink esthetic and I know it will look really good on a white bookshelf.

The last three items the FFF editors “picked” for each box, so I received the Cali Cosmetics foot cream- which smells like a delicious orange grove- the Spongelle coconut hand cream- which also smells great!- and the WINKY LUX brown pencil. The creams both smell really good and I know I will use up them both. The brow pencil was a welcome addition as I use pencils to finish my eyebrows every morning. I have found the shape of the tip on this one helps a lot in application.

All in all, I feel like this had mostly “hit” products, there isn’t something here I won’t use. I just really wish I was able to grab the kimono as a pick, which teaches me that I have to be faster to customize next time!
