The first item I got to pick was this canister duo from Uncommon James. To be honest none of the choices stood out to me so I decided I couldn’t go wrong with a homeware piece. The quality seems pretty nice and you can always remove the top and use it as a jar holder for pens or flowers.
Next up I chose these blue-light blocking glasses from nectar because I have a cheap pair and wanted a better quality pair for when I’m at my computer. These are definitely better than the pair I was using so I’m glad this was an option to pick.
My next choice item I sent for this Masontops glass water bottle that has an insulated turquoise sleeve. It’s a cute water bottle that even though it’s glass I feel the sleeve helps protect it from drops so I’m not worried about using it. The flip/pop top is also a nice addition because it’s easy to drink from!
My last two choice items I picked were the Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Pore Perfecting & Refining Serum (what a mouthful!) and the Likwid Rx hair oil. The poor serum I have used every night and to be honest I’m not sure if I have noticed any difference. I have larger pores so I was really excited to see if this product could help me, but so far no improvement! The hair oil, upon reading the directions that say apply this for one hour before washing your hair, I probably would have picked another option if I had known! I haven’t been able to use this much because I usually take a shower in the morning before I leave for work and I don’t have one hour to wait for this to sink in.
These last three items were ones *they* and by they I guess I mean the people who pack the boxes? I’m not sure how it works or if you just get random items, but anyways these three were what I received out of many, many options. The first is the Beauty Crop Glow Milk, and I am a very pale person so this is a bit too coppery, and dare I say glowy, for my skin tone so unfortunately I have not used it.
Next was the Hythe Tranquility Sleep Mist, which is a great lavender smelling spray that you mist around your pillow and bedding before going to sleep. Lastly, I received the Crease Release spray from The Laundress New York. I’ve tried to spray it on a few tough wrinkles but didn’t really notice a difference, but that may be because the marks were too well indented into the fabric? This might be best for smaller creases so I will try this again when I come across anything smaller.
I hope this helped anyone who looking into getting this subscription, again if you want to check it out you can find their website here.
